Mark "Mad Dog" Madsen is featured in a fun Wall Street Journal article today about former pros who play in recreational leagues. An administrator informed Madsen he was in violation of Stanford's intramural policy, which states, in part, "former professional athletes are not eligible to participate in their associated sport." To which Madsen replied, "I've never played in a coed professional league."
