David Shaw has led the Stanford Cardinal football team to great success since becoming coach in 2011, earning three bowl game appearances and two Pac-12 conference titles and has a total win-loss record of 34-7 in his tenure.
Shaw made it clear on Thursday to Joe Schad of ESPN.com that despite his great success with Stanford, he is not interested in coaching in the NFL in the future.
David Shaw: "I've lived the NFL life. It's not my goal to get to the NFL. I don't answer the calls."

The Stanford head coach, who has been the subject of NFL head coaching rumors in the past, has experience in the NFL, coaching for the Eagles, Raiders and Ravens in his nine years there.
He has reiterated in the past that he is not interested in a coaching position in the NFL and made that known again at the Pac-12 Media Day.
