Nneka Ogwumike hit the game-winning shot Sunday.

Let's just go ahead and crown Nneka Ogwumike the WNBA Rookie of the Year now, okay? Two days after winning Rookie of the Month honors, Ogwumike opened her second month in the league by nailing the first game-winner of her professional career in Los Angeles' 67-65 win over Seattle. You can watch the video of Ogwumike's game-winner--a running one-hander with 2.5 seconds to play--here.

The No. 1 overall pick of this year's draft led all rookies in scoring (13.8) and was second in rebounding (5.8) in May. She had 10 points, 5 rebounds and 2 steals against the Storm, helping the Sparks improve to 5-1. Ogwumike and the Sparks continue to chase fellow former Stanford star Candice Wiggins and the Minnesota Lynx, who are 7-0.
