Stanford men's basketball releases 2014-2015 non-conference schedule

Cardinal non-conference schedule highlighted by matchup's against UConn, possibly Duke and Texas

The Stanford University men’s basketball announced their non-conference schedule for the 2014-15 season on Thursday.

A full look at the schedule can be seen below:

Nov. 14 (Fri.) vs. Wofford

Nov. 16 (Sun.) vs. South Dakota

Nov. 21 (Fri.) vs. UNLV (Coaches vs. Cancer at Barclays Center)

Nov. 22 (Sat.) vs. Duke or Temple (Coaches vs. Cancer final)

Nov. 25 (Tue.) vs. Delaware

Nov. 30 (Sun.) at DePaul

Dec. 13 (Sat.) vs. Denver

Dec. 17 (Wed.) vs. Loyola Marymount

Dec. 20 (Sat.) at BYU

Dec. 23 (Tue.) at Texas

Dec. 29 (Mon.) vs. Arkansas-Pine Bluff

Jan. 17 (Sat.) vs. Connecticut

Key non-conference matchups for Stanford are against the reigning national champion UConn Huskies at home on January 17th, and possibly Duke in the Coaches vs. Cancer final. The only tough true road game for Stanford will come against Texas, a team that made it to the third round in March Madness, on December 23rd.
