Alijah Holder finally returned to action today against the Colorado Buffaloes after missing the last 3 games. In the 3rd quarter, unfortunately, with the Buffs on the move Holder came off the field with an injury favoring what appeared to be his shoulder or collarbone. Shortly after Holder left the field Stanford safety Justin Reid also left the field with an injury.
The Pac-12 Network reported that the Stanford training staff loosened Holder’s shoulder brace and placed ice on his shoulder. Holder was also reportedly walking around without his helmet which may signify he is unlikely to return any time soon.
Solomon Thomas was also treated by the medical staff for a cut by his left eye. Thomas was bleeding so in order to get him back into the game the training staff stitched him up allowing him back into the game.
