Aided by the return of one of his favorite blockers, Daniel Marx, McCaffrey scored the first touchdown of the game on a 61-yard run. Then, following a Solomon Thomas fumble recovery, McCaffrey entered the end zone once again less than three minutes later in the game:

McCaffrey has now scored five touchdowns in the last three games alone. Ever since the departure of short-yardage specialist Remound Wright after last season, McCaffrey has seen the end zone a lot more. This is McCaffrey's fourth multi-rushing touchdown game; three of the four came this season with the departure of Wright.
