Expect the Cardinal Stars to Dominate

Big time Players Make big time plays

Christian McCaffrey

Superman is back with his cape flying high, Christian McCaffrey’s impact has been felt by the last three opponents Stanford lined up against. I honestly don’t see anyone slowing Christian McCaffrey down with momentum this Stanford team has going. In the last 3 games McCaffrey has 588 total yards and 7 touchdowns. Flying under the radar Stanford has 3 straight wins with a 7-3 record. Going into this match up vs Cal Christian McCaffrey will be a match up problem as the offensive line and team is starting to come together.

Keller Chryst

In the last 3 games Keller Chryst has provided a spark for the offense, though he still has room for improvement. Over the last 3 games Chryst has made some plays that make you go wow this kid should have been our starter from the beginning. There are other plays, however, that make you scratch your head. Overall there are more positives than negatives. In this upcoming match up Chryst’s legs and ability to create outside the pocket could create a huge impact. Look for Keller Chryst to be better than last week as he has improved each week.

Solomon Thomas

Solomon Thomas’ impact is always felt. In the last 3 games he hasn’t filled up the stat sheet but opposing offenses have been forced to account for his impact and adjust their game plan accordingly. Thomas is one the best defensive lineman in the Pac-12. Solomon Thomas will need to be a difference maker to stop Davis Webb and Cal’s high powered offense that can put up some points. The Bears’ offensive production limited against good defenses this season, Thomas as the leader of this defense will have the opportunity to make big plays and keep the defensive momentum going.
