Under two minutes left in the first half, North Carolina faced 3rd down with a long way to go, and Stanford looked to stop the Tar Heels to set up another scoring opportunity. When Trubisky scrambled to pick up a first down, he ran into the ref and dropped the ball, which was picked up by Dylan Jackson. Starting in the red zone, Stanford couldn’t score a touchdown but settled for a field goal. Stanford leads 13-7 going into half.
