From: "UCLA Basketball Loses To Stanford 79-70" at Bruins Nation:

"They even managed to cut the lead to just two points when Bryce Alford hit a three-pointer which made it 64-62 Cardinal.

A 14-2 Cardinal run started after Alford's shot and Stanford led by 14, 78-64, with about a minute to go. The Bruins managed to close the game on a 6-1 run but time ran out on Daddy Ball in much the same way that time has run out on this season.

Stanford's Michael Humphrey led all scorers with 24 points while Bryce Alford scored 20 for UCLA. Isaac Hamilton and Stanford's Rosco Allen both finished with 19 points each."

From the Recap at GoStanford.com:

"The sophomore was 12 of 14 from the field, making shots with guys draped over him, falling down, fading away, from 17 feet out and on putbacks. But he missed all four of his free throws.

"I've been working on my shots and I felt good from the line," Humphrey said. "I felt like I had a good feel for the basket."

Humphrey recorded the second 20-plus game in his past four and third of the season."
