Former Stanford soccer standout Brandon Vincent is already making waves in the MLS. He is headed for the MLS All-Star game because of his exceptional performance as a defender for the Chicago Fire.
In his time at Stanford he had 80 starts, 13 goals and 3 assists. He knocked home three game-winners and secured the only two Pac-12 defensive player of the year awards ever given out for men’s NCAA Pac-12 soccer.
Vincent started making a splash in college when he helped the Cardinal to their first NCAA title in December. Then on January 14th Vincent became the second highest Cardinal ever picked in MLS SuperDraft history.
He missed only one day of the MLS combine when he was added to the U.S men’s national team roster. Now this decorated athlete will get the chance to showcase his skill and represent his former school as well as his current team in the All-Star Game.
