Around this time last year four-star guard Daejon Davis, of the 2017 recruiting class, was an early commit for the Washington Huskies. By April of this year Davis decided to de-commit and explore other options while still considering UW. At the beginning of this month Davis, who is the number one prospect in the state of Washington, announced that he had narrowed down his list to five schools, four of which are Pac-12 schools. His list includes Gonzaga, Washington, Oregon, Stanford, and Arizona. Davis is set to visit Stanford on September 30th. The 6’3 Davis attends Garfield High School in Seattle. He isn’t the only top prospect who plays at Garfield. His backcourt teammate Jaylen Nowell committed to Washington earlier this summer .

This past June Davis was invited to training camp for the USA Men’s Basketball U17 World Championship Team. Davis possesses great patience on the floor as a playmaker, is an outstanding rebounder for his position, and finishes well around the basket. Although he did not make the final roster, he had a solid showing. Take a look at some of the highlights from training camp.
