Recap: No. 18 Arizona men's basketball beats Stanford, completes Bay Area road sweep
Recap from Stanford Athletics:
“The Wildcats raced out to a 17-6 lead five minutes into the contest, before the Cardinal responded with a 9-0 run to cut it to two points (17-15). Back-to-back three-pointers from Rawle stopped the Stanford run as the Wildcats began to build their advantage.
Arizona closed the half on a 13-2 run to push its lead to 49-30 at the break. The Wildcats continued their hot shooting in the second half, connecting on 58.3 percent of their shots, including 5-of-7 from three-point range, to out-score the Cardinal 42-22 in the second period.”
Highlights: Arizona 91-52 win at Stanford Completes Road Sweep
Recap from our friends at AZ Desert Swarm:
“With how efficient the offense was, it’s not totally surprising that the scoring was spread out pretty evenly amongst the Wildcats. Five of Arizona’s eight rotation players scored at least 13 points. Parker Jackson-Cartwright did not score any points in this one, but had six assists and three turnovers. Kadeem Allen and Keanu Pinder were the other two players that didn’t reach the 13 point plateau.
We even got walk-on points when Kory Jones banked in a three in the final minute. Everything is awesome.”
