Bryce Love named a Heisman finalist

It’s Stanford’s fifth trip to NYC since 2009

The Heisman named its three finalists on Monday night, picking Oklahoma’s Baker Mayfield, Louisville’s Lamar Jackson, and Stanford’s Bryce Love.

Love is the fourth Stanford player to be nominated a Heisman finalist since 2009, joining Toby Gerhart, Andrew Luck (who was nominated two years in a row), and Christian McCaffrey.

The Heisman trophy presentation will be on Saturday, December 9.
