Baker Mayfield wins Heisman Trophy, Bryce Love finishes second

In news that surprised no one Oklahoma Sooners QB Baker Mayfield won the 2017 Heisman Trophy tonight over Stanford Cardinal running back Bryce Love and Louisville Cardinals QB Lamar Jackson. Love finished second in the voting and Jackson came in third.

Nothing can take away from the incredible 2017 season for Bryce Love who rushed for 1,973 yards and 17 touchdowns. Love broke the single game Stanford rushing record, the fastest Stanford running back to reach 1,000 yards, and set the single-season FBS record for most runs of 50+ yards and carried his team so many wins this season.
