Mark Rogers TV spoke with 3-star running back Justus Woods who recently committed to play football for the Stanford Cardinal. In the interview Woods discusses everything from his reason for committing to Stanford to his style of play.
Woods received a scholarship offer from Stanford back on February 1st of 2017. On March 16th, about 6 weeks later he verbally committed to Stanford. According to 247 Sports Woods also has scholarship offers from the UCLA Bruins, Duke Blue Devils, Virginia Tech Hokies, Wisconsin Badgers and several other schools. Most scouts have Woods as one of the 50 best running backs in the nation out of his class.
In an interview with 247 Sports Woods had this to say about his decision to come to the Farm:
"Stanford has the best of both worlds! If you're a football player who wants to take advantage of a great education along with playing Division I football why wouldn't you go there? I love the coaching staff there! They made me feel at home even though I was all the way across the country."
