The Polynesian Bowl announced eighteen additional players who will play in next year’s top high school game, and now, multiple Stanford targets for 2018 have committed to play. As of now, fifty two high school players will play in the Polynesian Bowl, and that number will only increase as time goes on.
Currently in the group, five names stand out as potential recruits for Stanford. Jalen Hall, who recently received an offer from Stanford, tops every name as the best receiver in the 2018 class. Solomon Tuliaupupu will also be another intriguing name playing in the bowl game. He is a four star inside linebacker who was offered by Stanford last November.
Beyond those two players, however, there are plenty of other Stanford prospects. Steve Stephens, Kyler Gordon, Tanner McKee, and Malone Mataele could all be potentially suiting up for the Cardinal in future years.
The Polynesian Bowl will be played on January 20, 2018, and although the date is far away, there’s always a time to talk about Stanford football’s future.
