Stanford cornerback Quenton Meeks declared for the NFL Draft, passing up his final year of eligibility to make the leap to the pros.

Meeks declared the move on Twitter:

Meeks was a second-team All-Pac-12 player this season, racking up 65 tackles, two interceptions and eight pass breakups.

Meeks is the third member of Stanford’s defense to leave early for the NFL, joining Justin Reid and Harrison Phillips.

Meeks’ father, Ron Meeks, coached in the NFL from 1991 to 2012, and was the defensive coordinator for the Colts under Tony Dungy.
