Bryce Love is coming back for his senior season.

After waiting all the way until the NFL Draft declaration deadline, Love’s father broke the news to Tom FitzGerald of the San Francisco Chronicle.

The key moment in the story:

His father, Chris, texted the news to The Chronicle early Tuesday morning: “Bryce will return for his senior year!”

Love carried the ball 263 times for 2,118 yards and 19 touchdowns last year.

His return is obviously a major boost for Stanford’s chances in the Pac-12 and nationally.
