2019 PF Neal Begovich Commits

Despite offers from a number of schools, Neal Begovich has announced he will walk on at Stanford in 2019.

The 6’9” Begovich is a great grab for a program with no scholarship openings. He was rated a 2* by some outlets, and had attracted attention from the Ivy League and other small programs around the country. He’s a versatile, mobile big man who is a good fit for what Haase is doing.

Begovich plays his high school ball at St. Ignatius College Prep in San Francisco. His family has strong ties to Stanford, including his mother, a brother who is a basketball practice player, and a close relationship with Condoleezza Rice.

This past season a walk on logged double digit minutes for the Cardinal on four occasions.
