Things couldn’t look bleaker. UW imposed its will over Stanford. They were unstoppable and Stanford was shut-out, 21-0. And to make matters worse, JJ Arcega-Whiteside exited the game with an ankle injury.
But then Kaden Smith reminded everybody that Stanford’s receiving talent is insanely deep—and it doesn’t just come from the wide receivers. The tight end made this beautiful catch to narrow UW’s lead, 21-7:

This was Smith’s second consecutive game with 7+ receptions and a touchdown catch.
