Report: Keller Chryst will visit Tennessee this weekend

NCAA Football: Stanford at San Diego State Jake Roth-USA TODAY Sports

Keller Chryst has already announced that he will transfer from Stanford - and now we have an inkling where he might go.

Chryst will reportedly visit Tennessee this weekend to get a closer look at new coach Jeremy Pruitt’s program.

The Vols are in the market for a transfer quarterback, as ECU’s Gardner Minshew is also interested.

Tennessee quarterback Quinten Dormady is transferring away from Knoxville, and Jarrett Guarantano took over for him after Dormady was injured. Guarantano and sophomore Will McBride are the incumbents in what is expected to be an open QB competition at Tennessee.

Chryst will not be graduating until June, so he may have more time to consider his options.

What other schools might be a possibility for Chryst? The coming weeks will surely give us more hints, but SB Nation’s Oregon State blog, Building the Dam, make the case for Chryst to consider Corvallis as an option as well.
