It was reported in February that KJ Costello’s hip injury might keep him out of Stanford’s spring practice, and today David Shaw confirmed that report.
David Shaw announces that #Stanford starting QB KJ Costello will be unable to participate in spring practices, as we'd reported earlier this month due to a hip injury. Costello is expected to be back to 100% in time for training camp https://t.co/niAm03ZMOy

Redshirt freshman Davis Mills is also out for spring practice, leaving Stanford with just Jack Richardson as the only quarterback on the roster available to participate in practice.
