Stanford lands QB Dylan Plautz

The Cardinal Flips a Kansas Preferred Walk-On

On February 4th, Omaha Westside quarterback Dylan Plautz announced on Twitter that he had been accepted into Stanford which he called his “dream school“. He will walk on at Stanford.

He has an excellent academic record with a score of 32 on the ACT which has also drawn the attention of Ivy League schools. However, he originally decided to walk on at Kansas before his acceptance to Stanford.

He is unranked on 247 but Plautz is the Nebraska’s No. 4 quarterback in the 2018 NebHSRecruiting rankings with an evaluation that describes him as “a level-headed pocket passer with a strong arm [and a] true leader that is smart and makes decisive decisions“
