The latest offseason addition to the Stanford Cardinal roster is 2020 4-star wide receiver Bryce Farrell.
The commitment to Stanford comes after receiving offers from Notre Dame, Nebraska and Nevada.
Stanford has been a dream school since I was 11 years old. Thank you to my parents and coaches who have all made this possible. I am committed to continue my academic and athletic career at Stanford University! #FeartheTree #GoStanford @BKwrStanford @tavitap pic.twitter.com/78pKrugoQz

Currently, Farrell is headed into his junior season at Oaks Christian High School, in Westlake Village, California. Despite a smaller stature at 5-foot-10, the shifty receiver makes his presence felt on the field.
Farrell has yielded 1,525 yards, 81 receptions and 16 total scores in the past two seasons. His ability to shake defenders at the line and haul in everything in his vicinity are two skills that translate to the next level immediately.
The added benefit of his size is the inside-out role he can give Stanford. He plays the X spot outside plenty at Oaks Christian, but will also thrive in the slot position at Stanford. An added bonus of playing at Stanford is the steady running attack. With the Cardinal’s constant stream of solid 3-down backs, the pressure on the passing attack is very low, giving young recovers plenty of time to grow.
The commitment of the young receiver is a great get for the Cardinal.
