USA Today Sports released its Amway Coaches Poll on August 2nd, and the Stanford Cardinal came in ranked 13th with 768 points.
The Cardinal, per usual on the tough scheduling front, play three teams in the preseason rankings this year which includes: #6 Washington Huskies, #11 Notre Dame Fighting Irish and #15 USC Trojans. The Pac-12 as a conference is looking to redeem itself and come out strong after an embarrassing 1-8 record from this past bowl season.
