Bryce Wills invited to Team USA U19 training camp

He’ll look to represent America at the World Cup

NCAA Basketball: California at Stanford Neville E. Guard-USA TODAY Sports

Bryce Wills is one of 34 players who will compete for a spot on Team USA’s U19 World Cup roster. He will participate in the training camp from June 15-18 against the very best young players in the country. Should he be selected to the 12 man roster, he will match up against the other top national sides from June 29-July 7 in Greece.

The rising sophomore already has national team experience. He was part of the U18 USA Select Team that competed at the Albert Schweitzer tournament in Germany last summer. In 7 games at that tournament, he averaged 11.6 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 2.1 assists.

The head coach of the U19 squad will be Kansas State’s Bruce Weber. Mike Hopkins of Washington is one of the assistants.
