The Stanford Cardinal welcomed 20 future student-athletes on Early Signing Day this past Wednesday, December 16, 2020. Through a wild day that saw several big-name athletes flip their commitments, sign their letters, decline until next year, and much more, the Cardinal still had a solid recruiting class in the end with 20 new student-athletes on board.
Through the tribulations that COVID-19 presented to finish a recruiting class in 2020, head coach David Shaw was very happy with how they ended the day.
“This was a very targeted search for us to put this class together,” said Shaw. “We were looking for guys who were going to fit us, and I’m feeling really good about where we are at.
“We’ve always been a national recruiter, and we will continue to be a national recruiter.”
