The Stanford Cardinal Football team was spotted practicing outdoors at Downtown Bellevue Park in Bellevue, Washington, a suburb of Seattle. The Cardinal, of course, had to travel to Seattle ahead of their game against the Washington Huskies this week thanks to the order signed by Santa Clara County that banned contact sports through at least December 21.

The Cardinal were seen in what appears to be a game walk through, ahead of Saturday’s game against the 3-0 Huskies.
Stanford is in Seattle through the weekend and will head to Corvallis, Oregon, for their game next week against Oregon State. That game, the original home finale for Stanford in the 2020 season, was moved to Oregon State due to the order from Santa Clara County.
It’s a season of adapt to this and adapt to that and the Cardinal are certainly meeting the adaptations head on.
Bellevue Park is said to be:
Lushly planted city park featuring a 240-foot-wide waterfall, a picnic green & a playground
They may as well add ‘football practice field’ on there too, but it certainly seems lovely.
Here’s hoping that waterfall brings them good luck this weekend. They’ll need it against a tough Washington defense.
