Christian McCaffrey has established himself quickly as one of the NFL’s top running backs, something that comes as no surprise to Stanford Cardinal fans around the world.
For goodness’ sake, his first college touch went for a touchdown — and it was at that point, we all knew he was special.
Thanks for Stanford Football’s Twitter account, we get the rare opportunity to relive one of the Cardinal Greats journey from Stanford to the NFL.

This, of course, comes today when we’re likely to hear the next in the line of Stanford Cardinal players making the leap to the NFL. Likely to be selected today is tight end Colby Parkinson, who aligns as one of the best available prospects remaining for Day 2.
We’ll be patiently waiting Colby’s selection — but in the meantime — have fun reliving some candid words and exciting highlights from McCaffrey about his time at Stanford.
We’re happy you’re a Stanford Man, Christian!
