The Week 3 matchup against a triple-option Army team is in the rear-view mirror after escaping in overtime in New York. Stanford improved to 2-0 and saw quarterback K.J. Costello take control of the offense for all but one drive that consisted of a three-and-out with all run plays led by Davis Mills.
This week, they’re kick off Pac-12 play with a showdown against Arizona State and their true freshman quarterback Jayden Daniels.
ASU currently has the nation’s 17th-best passing offense as they average 271.0 yards per game while Stanford’s offense is averaging the country’s 8th-highest points per game mark at 41.5.
You can be sure that there will be fireworks in this one, so let’s take a look at where we stand statistically through three weeks, two games of action.
