The Walter Camp Foundation named their Preseason All-American list this week, selecting eight Pac-12 players on their annual preseason list.

The Stanford Cardinal had no first-team selections but did land a pair of second-team honors. Offensive tackle Walker Little and defensive back Paulson Adebo each landed on the second team. Little joins the list as one of just 10 offensive linemen across the nation to land on the team and Adebo as just one of eight defensive backs to be named on either team.

The Walter Camp Foundation is one of five outlets that are used to qualify for consensus All-American status. They make up the group with the Football Writers Association of America, the Associated Press, The Sporting News and the American Football Coaches Association.

Little joins fellow Pac-12 offensive lineman Penei Sewell as the conference’s only two representatives on offense while Adebo joins Oregon’s Jevon Holland and Washington’s Elijah Molden as one of three defensive backs from the conference.

Both Adebo and Little are in contention for potential first-round selections in the 2021 NFL Draft but this preseason All-American list puts it into perspective that we still have at least 12 games of the 2020 college football season ahead of us.

It’s watch list season — and we couldn’t be more thrilled!
