The Stanford Cardinal men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams were each honored this week, being selected as the College Swimming Coaches Association of America Scholar All-America teams.

The teams were selected on the basis of their winter grade point averages, with a minimum of 3.0 team GPA. The CSCAA will not be publishing all the GPAs from their All-American teams due to adjustments in the grading system thanks to COVID-19 but the women’s team finished with a team GPA of 3.76 while the men finished with a team GPA of 3.48.

This is just yet another honor for these two highly distinguished teams. The women finished their fourth consecutive season as Pac-12 champions and went undefeated in the regular season for the fifth straight season. The men finished 4-1 in the regular season and went for third place in the Pac-12.

The women’s team sent 18 women to the Winter Academic Honor Roll and senior Erin Voss won the Pac-12 Scholar-Athlete of the Year award. She and teammate Brooke Forde were also selected as first-team Academic All-Americans.

For the men’s side, they sent 12 student-athletes to the winter Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll.

Individual Scholar All-American selections are scheduled to be announced next week.
