The Pac-12 is back and so is Stanford Cardinal football. Unfortunately, at this point, it looks like senior defensive back Stuart Head will not be a part of the Stanford’s return to the field in 2020.
Head announced on Twitter that he is opting out and entering the transfer portal and will graduate in March with a degree in political science.

Head also noted that his plans are to obtain a Master’s degree at another university and continue his ‘aggressive style of play’ on the football field.
As a graduate-transfer, he’ll be immediately eligible to play at his next destination.
Head logged snaps at Stanford in both 2018 and 2019, starting the back-half of games for the Cardinal in 2019. He recorded 42 career tackles and had two pass defenses in his time with Stanford.
We wish you the best in your next stop, Stuart.
Once a Card, always a Card.
