Start by beating Oregon...
Seriously, this projecting is making me come unglued. No game left on the schedule is a cakewalk or a given. We will have to fight tooth and nail to just get to the CCG. If we can get there and win it, then we can start seeing where we are at. Control what we can. Put the Ducks down! It won’t be easy. That offense is still very dangerous, and they seem to step up defensively against us for whatever reason.

I completely agree
Stanford’s final home-stand is going to be very difficult. We have a game for the Pac-12 Championship against Oregon, then we play a game for the Axe against Cal, and then two games that—if all go well—are for the CFP against Notre Dame and the Pac-12 South Champion.
Each and every one of those games is going to be tough. Best to take it one game at a time.
By the way, it sounded like you were curious about the upcoming game against Oregon, so definitely be on the lookout for my upcoming episode that previews precisely that game. It’s actually already recorded and produced, but Cardinal Sports Radio usually likes to wait until the day before the game (i.e., Friday morning) to put out my game previews.
