He also takes a look around the Pac-12 and discusses which other teams were haunted by demons Halloween weekend. I Had Forgotten That This Was A Comeback Win

as opposed to surviving on the basis of a missed field goal by Wazzu at the end. We needed to punch that TD in during our last possession, or at least tried to do that. Shame on us (or David Shaw). Otherwise, agree that the three stars (and to be fair, David Shaw’s adjustments) won this game for us.

Relax.

I think Stanford shot for the TD; McCaffrey was one block away from storming into the end zone. After the second run failed, make sure you have the FG, and rely on the D (which had done, I think, a great job on the day). I have been a strong critic of Shaw’s play calling in the past, but this year they are blowing my socks off. I don’t see the hyper conservative approach now; I think they have been going for the jugular since a signally bad day in Evanston.
