Entertaining insights as always, but edits needed

Michael Rector is coming back.
Conrad Ukropina is coming back.
Noor Davis: Is he really back?
Zachary Hoffpauir is the obvious replacement for Kodi Whitfield.
David Bright wasn’t mentioned…He should compete for a starting job on the o-line.

Good catches!

Especially a good catch on Zach Hoffpauir; I completely forgot that he was returning from the MLB to use his final year of eligibility at Stanford.

Will make sure to give you a shout-out in the next episode for catching my errors.

What about Jet Toner?

And yes that is really his name, assuming he signs is he just going to punt? I should probably ask Sean Levy this.

Testament to our high flying offense in 2015

It took me a few minutes to remember who punted for us this year. Such was the devastation of our offense that the punt team rarely saw the field. Didn’t we have the fewest 3-and-outs in the country this year?

Noor davis will be back and compete for the ILB void left by martinez. We need another tackling machine to emerge there with the way 3-4 works. David bright will start at the LG or RG position depending on whether casper will move to LG or C. They have big jesse burkett as the plan for C. LT worries me though. Tucker got schooled by the edge rushers this year and we don’t have that 5-star talent like an andrus peat or kyle murphy waiting to swoop in

Totally agree with this -- Tucker was not ready at NORW

Younger talent will press the seniors

Look at the big contribution Meeks made as a true Frosh. J.Reid (49er Eric’s kid brother) may challenge Hoffpauir at Safety, or the Nickel back. Hoffpauir is a solid tackler, but may not have the speed needed at that spot in the Pac12.
If OLine surprises to the upside (unlike 2014) then with McCaff, Love, Scarlett and a deep Corp of WRs, TEs should rock the Casbah again.
Chryst gets a tough schedule to learn on right out of the box, but huge talent to take the ball. Better than Hogan had when he got started.
I believe the Defense will be faster than 2015. Replacing Martinez, Anderson, and Shittu is the toughest — but Kuamatule steps into the Scarlett role, and Thomas, Phillips, maybe Annan, get help from Mike Williams, and Schaffer at DE. Perhaps Hamilton plays a few downs at DT to get in gear.
The kicking game is set. Ukropina is money.
This incoming class may approach the high level haul of 2012.

With Pryst now in the fold...

He could be a first year starter.

Completely OT

Does Shaw have a stealth bomber pin on his black sweatshirt on the top pic (from this years Rose Bowl I presume?)

It definitely looks like it

That is an awesome look pin.

Needs to have 3 of those

For 3 championship rings like a general

Good eye!

You are right; I did indeed take that photo from this year’s Rose Bowl!

Dylan Powell OT from Hannibal, MO scheduled to be in Fri PM through Mon AM.

Any confirmation he’s on campus or how his VT trip went via Twitter or something else?

4* OT committed today

Devery Hamilton from MD.

Looking to be a good O-line haul this year.

At LB: what happened to Okereke, and big Sean Barton?

Might even be able to use Barton at FB, like we did with Marecic for a while.

A somewhat superficial review… would recommend that you at least have read the standard recruiting blogs before you try to summarize them. Known at the time of your broadcast (in addition to previous poster’s corrections):
Simi Fehoko — 2-year Mormon mission before he enrolls
Michael Williams — a likely Texas flip
Kodi Whitfield showed no talent as a DB — repeatedly burned on missed coverages and poor angles
Other kicker on the roster: Jake Bailey, a top-5 K/P prospect when he signed
