At least, that’s the news of the day according to Bleacher Report’s Matt Miller, who said today that he had learned that McCaffrey plans to depart Palo Alto for the NFL.
While McCaffrey himself has yet to confirm his decision, it wouldn’t be unexpected. Scouts and analysts widely see McCaffrey as a first- or second- round selection to be a dynamic piece of a pro offense.
McCaffrey had 1,603 rushing yards and 13 rushing touchdowns in the regular season this year.
