Card Class 19 grew a lot on Friday, nabbing 6-foot-6, 285-pound OL Walter Rouse from Washington, DC.
Stanford and Notre Dame were the final two, but Rouse chose the Cardinal over the Irish, announcing his decision through a YouTube video.
Rouse also had offers from Michigan, Nebraska, Ohio State, Oklahoma, and dozens more.
The 247 Sports composite ranks Rouse as the #50 offensive tackle in the nation and the #524 player in the country.

Big boy.
Surprised he is ranked that low.

Maybe Rouse is lower-rated due to the level of competition he faces.

Jovan Swann.
Harrison Phillips was a 3-star recruit.

Yup
My unscientific, un-researched guess is that a lot of Stanford players come out of academically-oriented schools that play in less-competitive leagues, so the recruits get less attention, hype, and credit.
