Apart from a safety bust on the deep ball, a much more promising start today. Hopefully the offense doesn’t disappear after this. Also knocking on all the wood around me for KJ’s and the OL’s health to finish the game
Tempo with an accurate QB and a feisty RB is going to be hard to stop. This will have to be a shootout for the offense as the D isn’t inspiring any confidence
Deep shot to fehoko connected for a nice TD. Austin Jones with a nice pass block pickup after setting up that 2nd and short. He is going to ball in this offense
Atleast a score before half but chance went begging
Fehoko dropped a would-be TD (with mild help by the zona defender) and then KJ locked onto parkinson on the 3rd down. Atleast Sanborn looks unfazed as we go up by a TD
It helps that we are leading this game but whatever the end result, I am really happy that we are still fighting with an offense that has a pulse. Makes it so much more watchable
That JJ Taylor is a good nifty back but we are letting the whole pacific ocean part through. Can’t stop the run, the pass nor the scramble. Just let them score and move on to offense

Let's credit the Pac-12 refs for picking up that flag
The hit was with the shoulder pad, so they actually corrected the call on the field without messing up. Amazing.

Yeah I was worried they were going to let it stand
Btw how about that graphic showing FG when cam ran it in for a TD. So much for the broadcast credibility

Good start on offense so far

Welp the defense is in prime 2019 form

OMFG don’t all down
Why can’t our players stay on their feet? Three stumbles ending good plays in first qtr.

Tremayne for 6
Sick 1-hander to haul that in. KJ is so far. His moxy will also rub on the team

14-10 early in the 2nd
Cardinal are battling, and that’s enough for me. Go Stanford!

Better response by the D
Toohill is the last of the rose bowl remnants, beats the tackle for a sack

Wow, where has this team been all year?
Looking good.

Competent QB play and bad defense
It’s hard not to overreact but every game is a datapoint and sometimes matchups are huge advantage vs disadvantage
By layman on 10.26.19 1:42pm
Running it down their throats
Zona has a light front and our OL and TEs (even WRs) mauling and mashing them up front
By layman on 10.26.19 1:40pm
Oops no inside contain and tate walks in
ILBs and safeties just non existent for this team. Tate burns it right down the middle
By layman on 10.26.19 1:44pm
Talk about an open gate on that play
With a mobile QB it helps not to give him a completely open field for a TD.

What did we ever do to anger the injury gods?

Way more entertaining irrespective of the score
It helps that we are leading this game but whatever the end result, I am really happy that we are still fighting with an offense that has a pulse. Makes it so much more watchable
PS: what’s up with the turf monster
By layman on 10.26.19 2:19pm
The team at least looks alive
Even though the defense hasn’t done much…
By worldblee on 10.26.19 2:25pm
Hide those stat lines away
Coz it ain’t pretty : 13-15 (tate+gunnell) for 165 yards plus that gaping 64 yard TD run. Outmatched defensively
By layman on 10.26.19 2:28pm
It would help if they'd make the occasional tackle on the first hit
By worldblee on 10.26.19 2:51pm
Penalty puts them behind the chains
KJ can’t tuck it and run after catching it off deflection. Play it safe without turnover coz this one might come down to a possession steal
By layman on 10.26.19 2:43pm
Stanford can't stop scoring
Because the defense isn’t stopping Arizona at all.
By worldblee on 10.26.19 2:50pm
How do we not have a single spy in the middle?

Turning in for a nap, good luck card
Hopefully we pull this one out and have our slim bowl hopes still afloat
