They recently hit us with the top 10 passing performances of the David Shaw era and the Stanford Athletics Department is back at it again. This time around with the top 10 performances from a player on the receiving end of passes.

Montgomery went 7 for 120 and a 53-yard TD while Fleener had 4 for 128 and a TD.

Cajuste had 5 for 125 and a TD
No. 8 — JJ Arcega-Whiteside vs No. 9 Washington (November 10, 2025)
JJAW went for 130 yards on 5 catches including two 39-yarders
No. 7 — Zach Ertz @ Cal (October 20, 2025)
Ertz went 6 for 134 yards and a TD in the 21-3 win
No. 6 — Coby Fleener vs No. 22 Notre Dame (November 26, 2025)
Fleener grabbed 4 for 97 and 2 TD
No. 5 — JJ Arcega-Whiteside @ UCLA (November 24, 2025)
JJAW grabbed 7 balls for 106 yards and 3 TD

Parkinson tied the record with 4 TD grabs and finished with six catches for 166 yards

Montgomery recorded five total touchdowns including one on the ground and four through the air. He finished with five catches for 160 yards in the 63-13 throttling of Cal.

Never Really Understood Why Cajuste Did Not Get A Better Shot At The NFL
Sure, he was in-between a tight end and a receiver in terms of size and speed. So maybe falls a bit short at either position.
But he had great hands. And his size was big enough to create separation when the ball arrived. I remember watching his first TD catch where he caught the ball deep and over the middle and then stiff armed the defender to roll into the end zone. Had no idea who he was. But what a first touchdown…..with many more to follow. Also witnessed a great catch against the Ducks at home in the corner of the end zone. Really amazing hands.
