Apt recognition for this WR group
I got around to more film watch from last year’s dreadful season and man I am excited about this WR group. Every single game even the blowouts I watch this group flat out provide the effort and ball out. I can confidently say that we are almost 1b to USC’s receiving group.
With the WRs we have along with Jones and peat out of the backfield, if we had leach run the offense Davis mills would win the heisman. Even if we run the LSU/saints offense we would be very successful (provided the OL can pass protect even decently).
David is just not comfortable running a pass first offense and would rather pound the rock 40 times with a Gaffney than let it sling. It’s also clear that the OL (through injuries/personnel) was flat out poor. I mean cam Scarlett had his best year on the farm and when the blocking was even semi functional he really balled out.
