Bring your sunblock and break out the Bloody Marys. There's some early wake-up calls coming this fall.
Stanford football announced the kickoff times for six games this season, including premier matchups against USC and UCLA.
Here are the dates, times and networks announced thus far:
August 30 vs UC Davis - 12:30 p.m. - Pac-12 Networks
September 6 vs USC - 12:30 p.m. - ABC
September 13 vs Army - 2:00 p.m. - Pac-12 Networks
October 4 at Notre Dame - 12:30 p.m. - NBC
October 10 (Friday) vs Washington State - 6 p.m. - ESPN
November 28 (Friday) at UCLA - 12:30 p.m. - ABC
The times and networks for Sept. 27 at Washington, Oct. 18 at Arizona State, Oct. 25 vs. Oregon State, Nov. 1 at Oregon, Nov. 15 vs. Utah and Nov. 22 at Cal have not been announced yet.
My initial impression of this schedule is that it freaking sucks. For both fans with season tickets and fans across the country.
Good thing Larry Scott is making millions of dollars every year so he can make a team with only six home games play a conference opponent at rush hour on a Friday and put two of those home games on a network that nobody can watch.
Keep gettin' dem checks, Larry.
