Card Class 17 Update: Colby Parkinson, Osiris St. Brown, Stuart Head all hit pay dirt

Stanford's class of 2017 had a lot of time to work on their end zone dances this week

Casey Sapio-USA TODAY Sports

All these future Cardinal are ramping up for the postseason play, with most teams playing their region/district finales this week. Check out their penultimate regular season stats sheet.

2017 Commits

TE/LB Tucker Fisk - Davis Senior HS (Davis, Calif.)

Fisk was the hardest-working player in this bunch of commits this week, registering 55 yards on five catches and eight yards on two carries in his pivotal H-back role. What's more is that Fisk also contributed as a linebacker, a position I didn't know he played until this week. He tallied 7 tackles (5 solo) and two pass break-ups. However, the No. 13 Blue Devils mustered only one score in a loss to No. 8 Grant HS, 24-7.

WR Osiris St. Brown - Mater Dei HS (Anaheim, Calif.)

St. Brown snagged six passes for 69 yards and two touchdowns from sophomore sensation J.T. Daniels in a 58-16 victory over Servite HS. The Monarchs remain undefeated headed into their final regular season game this Friday against JSerra Catholic HS.

QB Davis Mills - Greater Atlanta Christian School (Norcross, Ga.)

Mills rested his arm as the Spartans took their bye week to prepare for their regular season finale against Dawson County HS (7-1, 5-0 in region).

TE/DE Colby Parkinson - Oaks Christian HS (Westlake Village, Calif.)

Parkinson reeled in four targets for 66 yards and a score in Oaks Christian's landslide victory over St. Bonaventure HS, 63-28. This week: a cross-town showdown with rival Westlake HS.

DB/WR Stuart Head - Etowah HS (Woodstock, GA)

Head was all over the field on defense with a blocked field goal, an acrobatic interception after an oddly-placed ricochet and a forced fumble. On offense, the Etowah stalwart defensive back-turned receiver hauled in three receptions for over 80 yards, none bigger than a 25-yard score on a fake field goal.

Sadly, a last gasp Hail Mary from Walton HS helped the Raiders down the Eagles, 34-30.

OL/DL Drew Dalman - Palma HS (Salinas, Calif.)

Playing without star running back Emilio Martinez, who was held of the game as a precautionary measure, Dalman and the Chieftains' big bodies up front kept the rushing attack steady, accruing 128 yards to go along with four scores. Palma also dialed up the defensive pressure against Christopher HS, and Drew was one of three Palma defenders to tally two sacks as the Chieftains sacked Christopher QB Ryan Adamkiewicz nine(!) times in their 42-14 victory.

RB/LB Sione Heimuli-Lund - Brighton HS (Salt Lake City, UT)

Brighton's regular season has been over for a week. No game recap to report here.

2018 Commits

QB Jack West - Saraland HS (Saraland, AL)

West had his best game all year, going 11-of-14 for 179 yards and a trio of scoring passes while also adding a three-yard rushing score in Saraland's Senior Night demolition of B.C. Rain HS, 62-26. With the win, the Spartans clinched a playoff berth for the sixth straight time under head coach Jeff Kelly (he hasn't missed playoffs since being hired).
