Blue Chip recruit Connor Wedington considering Stanford

He’s named Stanford in his final 5

NCAA Football: Stanford Views Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Four-star athlete Connor Wedington released his top five schools over Twitter on Sunday night. To no one’s surprise, Stanford made the cut, along with Notre Dame, Baylor, UCLA and Washington.

The No. 5 prospect in the state of Washington has trended up in the eyes of the Cardinal coaches as a priority recruiting target in the Pacific Northwest. Wedington is ranked the nation’s ninth-best athlete prospect and 210th overall by 247Sports, and will announce his final decision on National Signing Day (February 1).

The Sumner (WA) Senior High School standout was a long-time Washington commit, but decommitted from the Huskies in early December.
