One of the top tight ends in this year’s recruiting class is headed to the Stanford Cardinal. As of December 19th of last year, four-star recruit Colby Parkinson announced his commitment to play for Stanford and today he sent in his signed letter of intent.
247Sports has Parkinson as the number one tight end in the 2017 class. At 6’7 and 228lbs, there is no doubt he will find his place and have a significant impact in Stanford’s offense in the years to come. After all, the Cardinal is well-known for its success at the tight end position. Some notables include Coby Fleener, Zach Ertz, as well as Levine Toilolo and Austin Hooper who are both playing for the Falcons in Super Bowl 51.
Colby Parkinson will look to cement his name among the Stanford greats with his commitment.
