Will Baker, one of the nation’s top 25 prospects in the class of 2019, announced via Twitter that he has narrowed his list to four schools: Texas, UCLA, Georgetown, and Stanford.
I would like to thank all of the programs and their coaching staffs who have spent time recruiting me, but I have chosen to narrow my list. I have decided to focus on the following four schools‼️@TiptonEdits pic.twitter.com/PRQeQkFJmY

Baker is one of the more unique players in high school basketball. He measures in at 7’0”, but frequently handles the ball on the perimeter and initiates the offense. He also has deep range, and can score in a variety of ways. His versatility and “point forward” skills echo previous points of recruiting emphasis by Jerod Haase and his staff.
Baker’s hometown Texas Longhorns were considered favorites earlier in the process, but 247 now sees him as a UCLA lean. From his final list, it appears he is targeting schools with strong academics.
There is not currently a spot available for him at Stanford; the Cardinal are slated to have 12 returning scholarship players and have received a commitment from Tyrell Terry. It is worth noting that Marcus Sheffield will be a junior in terms of eligibility, but a senior in terms of academics.
