We are expanding the team . . . Now onto the links.

Check out this week's "Sundays With Soltau" from the Stanford Athletic Department.

Stanford football has a big coming up on Thursday night against UCLA, say what you will about Thursday night games, but this is an historic series according to the Athletic Department. The LA Times has questions about whether the Bruins defense can handle the Stanford rushing attack and Bruins Nation wonders if UCLA will actually be prepared to compete with Stanford. UCLA head coach Jim Mora is not a fan of Thursday night games according to the Los Angeles Times. Bruins Nation also covers a rather disturbing story out of UCLA. The Associated Press also wonders if Jim Mora can end the skid against Stanford.

ESPN shares a couple of Pac-12 projections. The first has Stanford football at number 2 in the Pac-12 power rankings, and in their Bowl Projections they have Stanford headed toward the Rose Bowl.

In other Stanford Athletics news the Women's volleyball team beat a ranked Oregon team on Sunday, the Men's Water Polo team finished 4th in the Kap7 SoCal Invitational and the Women's soccer team picked up a victory as well on Sunday night.
