Does Christian McCaffrey Deserve to Win a Heisman?

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

At the pace he's going, Christian McCaffrey will become the first ever in NCAA history to record over 3,000 all-purpose yards in a single season.

Does Christian McCaffrey deserve a Heisman Trophy if he continues at his current pace? Host Matt Vassar makes the case in this episode of Cardinal CounTree. McCaffrey is on pace to break an almost 30-year record for all-purpose yards in a season set by NFL Hall of Famer Barry Sanders the year that he won the Heisman Trophy, and McCaffrey's numbers are also on pace to exceed those of Reggie Bush the year that he won the Heisman. He also talks about the "utterly incredible" catch by Francis Owusu in the game against UCLA.
