Pac-12 Breakdown Episode 23: Comparing Pac-12 vs Big 12 Football

In the latest episode of Pac-12 Breakdown we explore a few hypothetical football games between the Big 12 and the Pac-12.

On this week's Pac-12 Breakdown we launch our series matching up the Pac-12 conference vs the rest of the Power 5 conferences. We kickoff with the Pac-12 going head to head with the Big 12. The rules are simple, we matchup the teams according to their finish in the conference for example Pac-12 Champ Stanford in a hypothetical matchup with Big 12 Champ Oklahoma, two plays two, three plays three and so on. Because the Pac-12 has more teams than the Big 12 the middle two teams in the Pac-12 (Cal and UCLA) were taken out of the equation. We discuss what we think would happen if the two teams, based on their 2015 performance, and at full health, were to play each other. The hypothetical contests were as follows:

Stanford Cardinal vs. Oklahoma Sooners
Oklahoma State Cowboys vs. Oregon Ducks
TCU Horned Frogs vs. Washington State Cougars
Baylor Bears vs. USC Trojans
West Virginia Mountaineers vs. Utah Utes
Texas Tech Red Raiders vs. Washington Huskies
Texas Longhorns vs. Arizona State Sun Devils
Kansas State Wildcats vs Arizona Wildcats
Iowa State Cyclones vs. Colorado Buffaloes
Kansas Jayhawks vs. Oregon State Beavers
