Stanford TE commit Colby Parkinson receives jersey for US Army All-American Bowl

The nation's top tight end prospect will test his skills out in San Antonio

Class of 2017 Stanford tight end commit Colby Parkinson received his game jersey for the US Army All-American Bowl at Oaks Christian High School (Westlake Village, Calif.) on Tuesday morning. Parkinson's presentation was one of a small handful just like it that kicked off Day 1 of the game's annual Selection Tour, which, in 2016, headed to 190 high schools in over 35 states.

The 6'7, 230-pound pass-catcher is ranked by most recruiting services as a top-two tight end in the nation.

The game will take place on January 17, 2017 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. Parkinson will take the field as a member of the "West" Roster alongside and against a host of Stanford commits and targets who will also get their own jerseys later this fall. A complete list is below.
